Catering in the Cotswolds, panacotta dessert by Two Simmering Pans

We could use the title 'Catering in the Cotswolds' for a lot of our blog posts, as that seems to be where we spend a lot of our time. With luxury holiday lets and large houses, there's always an excuse for a get together and a chance to hire a private chef.

Travel far and wide

Although based in Bristol, we are on a great road network and able to easily travel to Somerset, Devon, the Cotswolds, Bath, Oxfordshire ... and every now and then we even venture to London!

This particular event was actually across a whole weekend, for a Christian healing group. We provided lunch and dinner for 30 guests over multiple days and offered a split menu where guests chose their preferred option from a selection in advance. Making everyone happy!

Bespoke Menu

The sample menus we provide always change slightly and that's great as we like to create bespoke dishes. This lovely client chose a seasonal menu that covered three courses at each sitting and included the below:

Smoked trout with pickled pear and a parsnip & horseradish slaw


Mango & balsamic pork belly with pomme anna potatoes and savoy cabbage


Traditional roast dinner with rosemary & garlic lamb


Vanilla pannacotta with thyme crumble, caramel sauce and poached cherries
